What this website is for

This website provides general information about Bensalem Pharmacy — our services, location, opening hours and how to contact us. It also lets you submit a prescription refill request. You cannot view your full prescription record or medical history through this site.

Information you send us

There are four ways to send us information from this site, and each is handled differently.

• The online refill form. Our refill page hosts a form provided by BestRx, the pharmacy management system we use to dispense prescriptions. When you submit a refill, the prescription number and identifying details you enter are transmitted to BestRx and placed in our refill queue. That information is not stored on this website or on our web host. BestRx handles it as our service provider, under the same obligations that apply to your prescription records at the pharmacy.
• The refill and question form. The form on our contact and refill pages asks for your name, phone number, an optional email address, the Rx number(s) from your label and a short note. It is delivered to the pharmacy's internal inbox by email and used only to fill your prescription or answer your question.
• The callback request form. The form on our transfer page asks for your name, phone number, the pharmacy you are transferring from, and an optional email address. It is delivered to the pharmacy by email and used only to contact you about your prescriptions. We deliberately do not ask for prescription numbers, dates of birth or any medical information on this form.
• Email. Messages sent to our published email address arrive in an ordinary email inbox.
• Telephone. Anything you tell us by phone is handled under the pharmacy's normal privacy practices, the same as if you had walked up to the counter.

How we use it

Information you send through this website is used for one purpose: to respond to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with third parties for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a callback form.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement on this website's general information pages. They help us see how many people visit, which pages are useful, and whether our ads lead people to call or visit the pharmacy. These Google tools set cookies and receive standard browsing information, such as the page you viewed, how you arrived, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

We have switched off Google's ad-personalization features for this site, so your visits here are not used to target ads to you. The refill, prescription transfer and contact pages (the pages with forms) carry no analytics or advertising tags, so nothing you type into our forms is shared with Google.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Google explains how it uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Two other third-party services are loaded on specific pages and may record your IP address under their own privacy policies:

• BestRx — the refill form on our refill page. BestRx is our pharmacy management system and processes refill requests on our behalf.
• Google Maps — the embedded map on our homepage and contact page. Not present on the refill page.

Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which typically record IP addresses and pages requested.

Links to other sites

Where we link out — to Google Maps for directions, for example — that site's own privacy policy applies once you leave ours.

Your health information

Health information held by the pharmacy about your prescriptions is protected separately under federal and Pennsylvania law, including HIPAA. That is covered by the pharmacy's Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at the pharmacy counter. Ask us for a copy and we'll hand you one.

Children

This website is intended for a general adult audience and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the website changes. The current version is always the one published on this page.
